Abstract

Pengendalian obesitas memerlukan pendekatan berkelanjutan yang tidak hanya menurunkan berat badan, tetapi juga menjaga stabilitas metabolik dalam jangka panjang. Kajian ini bertujuan menyintesis bukti ilmiah mengenai kontribusi program latihan terstruktur dalam mendukung keberlanjutan manajemen berat badan dan optimalisasi fungsi metabolik. Penelitian menggunakan metode integrative literature review dengan menelaah artikel dari berbagai basis data ilmiah melalui proses seleksi sistematis dan analisis tematik kualitatif. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa latihan terstruktur berfungsi sebagai intervensi inti melalui mekanisme ganda, yaitu regulasi keseimbangan energi dan adaptasi metabolik independen dari penurunan berat badan semata. Keberhasilan implementasi sangat dipengaruhi oleh prinsip progresivitas, individualisasi program, serta dukungan perilaku dan lingkungan. Temuan ini memperkuat model konseptual bahwa latihan fisik bukan hanya alat reduksi berat badan, melainkan determinan utama stabilitas metabolik jangka panjang. Dengan demikian, integrasi latihan terstruktur dalam pendekatan multidisipliner berbasis bukti menjadi esensial dalam pengendalian obesitas berkelanjutan.
